Encrypted connections
The site uses HTTPS. Cloudflare documents encryption at rest for D1 and TLS for traffic between Workers and D1. Cloudflare manages the storage encryption keys.
Family separation
The server verifies the session and family membership before granting budget access. Changes are checked against the budget revision to prevent silently overwriting newer entries.
Authentication with Clerk
Clerk manages accounts and sign-in verification. EvenFunds does not store passwords in its budget database. Never share sign-in links or verification codes.
Limits of these protections
We do not claim end-to-end encryption, an independent security audit or certification of EvenFunds itself. Access within each family workspace is shared. The exact storage country of the current database has not been verified. Never store banking passwords or card details in notes.
